Peer Support Training

This specialized 6-hour training equips peer support professionals with practical, hands-on skills to apply Emotional Attachment Behavioral Therapy (EABT) within peer-based services.

Participants learn the core principles of the model, complete and share the same exercises used with clients, and practice guiding individuals through attachment-focused support. The training emphasizes building support systems, navigating resources, strengthening coping and resilience, and fostering safe, supportive peer relationships, providing peers with effective tools to enhance connection, engagement, and long-term support. Upon completion, participants are certified to use EABT in both one-on-one and group peer support formats.

    1. The participants will be educated on the fundamentals and primary objectives of Emotional Attachment Behavioral Therapy.

    2. The participants will receive first-hand experience of completing and presenting EABT exercises that their clients will be doing.

    3. The participants will experience multiple practice opportunities of guiding a client through EABT exercises both individually and in group sessions.
